infants and toddlers… If you are interested in positively impacting the
early development of a child with special needs… Then the First Steps
program may be the perfect fit for you! As a provider for First Steps,
you have the opportunity to either work for an agency, or to work as an
independent provider. You can have the flexibility to work part-time,
or full-time, depending on your needs and lifestyle. Listed here are

First Steps services.

activities within each service area.
Cluster G Agency
List - This document contains a list of agencies in the Central Indiana region that are
contracted with the state to provide First Steps services, and are a
possibility for employment. This is an option for providers that do not
want to operate their own business, and would rather be employed by an
agency who would be responsible for taxes, liability insurance, billing, etc.

These documents list the current rates (reimbursed for 15 minute
increments), EDS contact information, and other billing information.

codes needed for billing for services rendered.

Enrollment Packet - This is the document that must be submitted to
EDS (the contractor that handles billing and credentialing services).

Orientation for interested providers as well as other trainings for
