infants and toddlers… If you are interested in positively impacting the
early development of a child with special needs… Then the First Steps
program may be the perfect fit for you! As a provider for First Steps,
you have the opportunity to either work for an agency, or to work as an
independent provider. You can have the flexibility to work part-time,
or full-time, depending on your needs and lifestyle. Listed here are

This document contains Information outlining the criteria and
requirements set forth by the State of Indiana for individuals providing
First Steps services.

Developmental Therapy Supervisor List-
A list of DT supervisors in the Cluster G region, that are available to
supervise newly enrolled and independent DT's for their first year in
the program. This is a state requirement for those who do not have
early intervention experience!
Developmental Therapy Supervision Guidelines-
Developed by the local council, this document is meant to be a basic
guideline of what to expect from your supervision experience, in order
to ensure that new DT's are well prepared to begin providing ongoing
services.
Cluster G Agency
List - This document contains a list of agencies in the Central Indiana region that are
contracted with the state to provide First Steps services, and are a
possibility for employment. This is an option for providers that do not
want to operate their own business, and would rather be employed by an
agency who would be responsible for taxes, liability insurance, billing,
supervision etc.

Is the entity that offers the state’s mandatory First Steps Provider
Orientation for interested providers as well as other trainings for
